Who can attend classes?
Puppies should be at least 7 weeks of age, and they must be started on their vaccination series
(DHPP including a kennel cough vaccination) by a veterinarian.
Why enroll your puppy in preschool?
To make puppies grow up into comfortable, confident, and emotionally stable adult dogs in any
situation, they must be properly socialized before 16 weeks of age. After 16 weeks of age, this
golden period for social and emotional development has ended, making it difficult for dogs to adapt
to the ever changing world. Puppy socialization is the single most important thing a puppy parent
can do for his or her dog in its entire lifetime. Many problem behaviors such as aggression to dogs
and people, fear of people, places and things, anxiety related problems, and nuisance behaviors
such as jumping, chewing, and stealing objects, and excessive barking can be prevented. Puppy
Start Right Preschool, simply put, is the right start for you and your dog.
What to expect?
Puppy Start Right Preschool is instructed by Debbie Puppel, a Certified Pet Dog Trainer and
